Families come in all shapes and sizes and so does creativity. The Meadows Museum and Highland Park Library invite kids and their grown-ups to join us on the first Saturday of the month to get creative together. Each session includes story time by Highland Park Library and an art project facilitated by Meadows Museum staff and SMU student Museum Experience Ambassadors.

This month, explore the Cubist portraits of painters Diego Rivera and Maria Blanchard, then create your own geometric foam portraits!

Free with regular museum admission. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, $4 for non-SMU students. Members are free. Active military and their families are free. Free museum admission for youth 18 and under is made possible by a grant from Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee.

Designed for children ages four to six, but all are welcome. This program is not a drop-in program. Each session begins at 10:30 am and ends at 11:30 am.
